Volleyball Warmups
I add some specific volleyball skills to our dynamic warmups. We will do the general warmups of jogging, skipping etc... but I add a skipping sequence with double arms to simulate attacking arm swings. I add shuffling to left and right with a passing platform.
For stretching: Lunges with setter hands
Side lunges with passing platforms
Squats with setter hands
Knee lifts with tipping hands
Ankle lifts with tipping hands
I will sometimes have them hold a ball with the setting hands and tipping hands so they can get extra touches with the ball.
