Hyperventilate (Pursuit Drill)
With a tosser on a hitter's box and someone to feed the tosser balls on one side of the net and three passers on the opposite side on net, we're ready to start the drill. The passers start with their feet on the attack line and are attempting to make three passes to complete a freeball or attack and must complete three successful balls (balls inbounds into the opposite court) to rotate out.
The tosser should make it tough, tossing balls to the outside of sidelines, on the endline or into the seams. If the passers cheat (start leaning or turning) drop ball just beyond the net to make them come forward. Work for communication, hustle, endurance and desire to get to the ball. Make it challenging, off court teammates should be cheering them on.

Jen Koll, they may leave with the release of the ball if they’re unsuccessful or the ball hits the floor without a touch or even with a shanked ball the players must hustle back to the attack line for the next released ball.
